We thought...

When Marni and I bought our Civic we both thought we would bring our first baby home in the backseat someday. Marni was a little disappointed when we drove off the lot in our new black Element a couple years later but we figured this time we'd be right. When the black Element died a premature death in Arizona we figured we'd have to be right with the blue Element. Fingers crossed that the third time is the charm because we're finally pregnant after a long, long road of trying and disappointments.

Baby Plesko is due September 4, 2010 and we couldn't be more excited to let everyone in on our secret! More to come but all three(!) ultrasounds so far have been perfect and the heartbeat is strong. Super excited!!!

I am really excited for you two! Let me know when you know the sex. We are having a girl, along with two other co-workers.

Let's get together on a ride soon. Maybe next Sat? I would like to talk to you about your path to being a teacher as well.

Congrats, man! I know you two have had a long, hard route on this front, so this has gotta be uber-exciting. Get all the racing you can in this year! (as believe me, things change a bit after the bambinos come...)

Congratulations Chris. As one who's lived through the disappointment of losing a baby, and coming back to have 3 awesome kids that fill my life with joy, love and the best time I could have ever imagined ( and our oldest is only 5!) things are going to work out for you. So stoked. I know the disappointment, hopelessness and sometimes blame that comes with trying and trying and losing a child (we tried for 2 years before our first pregnancy) and I want you to know that it's nothing you have control over, and we'll never know why somethings turn out the way they do. But, You're expecting!!!! And....it's going well! Again, congratulations, I'm so happy for both of you!

Cheers.

Congrats. Why did your element crap out? I've been thinking about getting one.

Shawn - We should definitely get together, it will just have to be after I get back from AK. I'll be back March 11th from the Ultrasport.

Anonymous - The Element didn't crap out, my buddy rolled it and totalled it falling asleep at the wheel. Whoops! Kept us safe inside though and Marni and I bought another one.
