On and on the CTR...you have started out doing triathlons, road races and even 100 mile rides and a 24 hour race. Each adventure seems to get more and more unbelievable. Now 500 miles, through hail and lightening bolts. This progression is disturbing.
The 24 days across the mountains of Tibet. The first year the race is restricted to single speed fixed gear bikes. Its a self supported race ending at the top of Everest.
Do that race and there will no need to do any others.

enjoy your 'own' time and ride now, its a lot harder as family obligations change

I guess you've disproved that men who ride their bike a lot have, ehem, problems.
