Way too long

Seriously guys (and gals), this blogger silence has been way too long. I am fine and still pumped to ride. I'm recovering some and taking a bit of a short break from the long stuff although I have to admit that chasing DH for 120 miles through Kaibab is damn near impossible to pass up. Only the 11+ hour drive and having to work on Friday are really putting the stop to that. I think...

Also I crashed last Friday and rebroke those rib(s) on the left side of my chest. Apparently that makes me moan in pain in my sleep and my mornings are quite painful until some movement and vitamin I kick in. Got a bunch of road rash on every limb and my back too. Oh well. Recreational hazard I guess.

Pictures galore and a couple race reports on the way. Maybe even tonight.

Riding rules. I love to race. My list of "want to do" rides just gets longer and longer the more I play with TopoFusion and good old topo maps. Enough feeling sorry for myself. I should really feel sorry that I have to go to work instead of doing kick ass rides everyday all over CO and UT.

Good luck to Dave Nice and everyone else headed out on the GDR soon!

YAY! BloggerChris! Heal up and then I'll drive you around the country chasing the big boys. For now, let's make it through a night without moans and groans. Keep blogging!

Order restored, I was starting to wonder if you were doing alright after the Grand Loop.

Last few days have been tough on bikers, I crashed my Niner at West Mag but luckily just a couple scrapes.

Looking forward to the upcoming updates.

glad your posts are back. hope the ribs heal up quickly. there aren't many days that go by in which I don't day dream about quiting my job, moving to CO or UT and biking and running kick ass trails everyday... and then I remember that I'm thousands of dollars in debt and that alaska kicks ass too. dang it. why's life gotta be so hard :)

Happy to see you are back blogging. I was getting a little concerned there for a while. Hope the ribs feel better soon.

I was starting to wonder what happened to you. And yeah, I so want to ride the Kaibab this weekend but the drive just seems too tortuous for a long weekend.

So what's up with all the crashes and injuries last weekend? Seems like everyone I know got hurt!

I wasn't worried, everyone needs a break from bloggerland every now and then. Nice that you're back.

Hey you CO folks, you DO gain an hour coming out...

It's far, and moreso, there isn't a very neat or easy way to come. You'll be missed.

It's a problem: I have to take at least a day off work to make something like the CB 100 work. Gott a work on that private jet.
